Thank you very much for visiting my campaign website. It has been my privilege to have spent much of my life in community service dedicated to the North County and to my hometown of Paso Robles.
Most recently I was elected to the Paso Robles City Council in 2012 and then was elected without opposition as Mayor in 2014. I previously served on the Paso Robles City Council from 1987 to 1996 and as Mayor from 1988-1990.
I have served on many non-profit boards and service clubs including the Paso Robles Library Foundation, Paso Robles Main Street, Atascadero Main Street, the LINK and many others.
But that’s all about the past and I am all about the future.
With your help and support I will work on the Board of Supervisors for a future where our water is managed fairly and responsibly; where local people can get local jobs; where health and human services are maintained and improved; where public safety and economic development are encouraged and promoted.
I see civil discourse replacing rancor and rank-and-file decision-making. I see each person’s input taken into account and not getting bogged down in partisan bickering. I see Supervisors who treat the public and each other with respect.
As your First District Supervisor I will listen, lead and communicate. I will listen to your concerns, ideas and inspiration. I will use them to set an agenda of issues that will lead us to a more prosperous county by addressing the major issues of water, public safety, economic development and the efficient provision of county services. And I will communicate with the public to keep the people informed about the County’s direction and actions. I will work with all parties to find the best solutions for everyone, not just one narrow band of constituents.
I respectfully ask for your vote for San Luis Obispo County First District Supervisor!
Dee Lacey – Paso Robles Community Leader
“I am supporting Steve Martin as 1st District Supervisor because he is an experienced leader. He is a good listener, does his homework, is a problem solver and a consensus builder. He understands the issues that the North County is facing and will work for all of us.”
